Prima Performance Studio will be following the Williamson County schools for closings. If the schools are closed in Williamson County and weather hasn't cleared by the time classes start, Prima will be closed as well. Twinkle Toes Combo - Ages 3-5. This class will consist of ballet, jazz, tap and tumbling. We will enjoy creative movement with the fun dress up costumes. The students will perform two recital dances, one ballet and one tap. Jazz/Tumbling - Ages 6-9. Students in this class will learn basic jazz technique and tumbling skills. This class will perform two jazz routines in our spring recital. Pre-Ballet/Tap - Ages 5-6. Students in this class will learn age appropriate ballet and tap skills. Students will be required to purchase a beginner ballet workbook to accompany the lessons learned in class. The class will perform a ballet and tap routine in our spring recital. Ballet I/Tap – Ages 7-8. Students in this class will learn basic ballet and tap technique and will be required to purchase a ballet I workbook to accompany lessons learned in class. This class will perform a ballet and tap routine in our spring recital. Ballet II – IV - The students in these classes will learn skill level technique and will be required to purchase ballet workbooks to accompany the lessons learned in class. These classes will perform one ballet routine in our spring recital. Lyrical/ Jazz I & II - These classes are designed for students 9 and up. This class will focus on jazz and lyrical technique, floor progressions, flexibility, turns and leaps. They will perform a jazz and lyrical routine in the recital and will participate in our opening number for a total of three recital dances. Modern - Ages 9 & up. This class will focus on modern and contemporary styles of dance. They will focus on finding and using correct technique that will help with other styles of dance. This class will perform one dance in our spring recital. Stretch & Conditioning - This class is for any student wishing to improve their flexibility and strength in their dancing. It will focus on stretching the body so the dancer can perform anything from splits to powerful leaps and leg catches. This class will also involve strength training with exercises such as, crunches, push-ups, etc. to improve their precision while dancing. Progressions & Turns - This class is for students looking to further their dance. Prima Combo Class - This is for students ages 6-11 wanting to take ballet, jazz and tap.
Registration & Class Overview Each student will be required to pay a $25 registration fee for one student $35 for a family. The only students exempt from this fee are families who advertised in our spring recital 2009. Payments & Tuition Tuition is due on the first of the month. Payments received after the 10th are considered late and will automatically incur a $20 late fee. No exceptions will be made this year. We do have the option this year for you to leave a credit card on file. We will charge a $2 processing fee each time we run your card. There is a $25 returned check fee. Please see someone at the front desk if you have any questions.
